Client during design thinking and biodesign workshop as they work to address their organization's largest unmet need: Integrating AI into their healthcare technology

Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to be recognized as the most exciting emerging technology by healthcare leaders. S2 supports AI leaders with AI implementation.

AI is being implemented to improve healthcare, including: clinical care, operations, and research. The Center for Connected Medicine found that 85% of executives believe AI has the potential to significantly improve healthcare administration, operations, and clinical care. The potential to harness AI for improved patient outcomes is immense, yet a gap in comprehensive training hinders innovation and implementation.

The pressing question is:

“How can healthcare leaders effectively implement AI into patient care to enhance outcomes and workflows?”

The answer lies with S2 training professionals in the biodesign process. By strategically implementing AI, healthcare leaders can significantly enhance clinical, operational, and educational outcomes, ultimately leading to better patient care and more efficient healthcare systems.

S2 empowers leaders with a deep understanding of AI and the biodesign approach, where professionals will become future innovators in AI and healthcare, fostering a culture where AI innovation and implementation accelerates new product development and results in better patient outcomes.

Welcome to the S2 Innovation Workshop for Biodesign.

The MIT xPRO portion of this collaboration is a blended learning platform offering best-in-class professional development courses created by world-renowned MIT faculty. Upon completion of an MIT xPRO course, participants receive a professional certificate from MIT xPRO. The S2 experiential implementation Workshop is designed by S2 founders to build upon the foundational learning from MIT xPRO’s professional certificate course(s), equipping professionals to apply what they learned in the MIT course to tackle their organizations' strategic challenges using AI and the biodesign process. S2 also does workshops without the MIT xPRO course. While this workshop complements MIT xPRO courses, S2 also offers standalone workshops independent of MIT xPRO.

The S2 Experiential Workshop

AI in Healthcare: A Biodesign Application is an experiential workshop followed by strategic consulting to support healthcare leaders. The participant’s organization will pose a “how might we” question, which is a critical unmet need that the organization wants to solve in AI and healthcare. Participants will be placed into small, interdisciplinary teams, and will immediately apply knowledge after each of our workshop's interactive lectures to shape their innovative solutions. They will define their needs, explore, prototype, and refine creative solutions to the "how might we" question. By the end of the workshop, each team will have a unique solution that addresses their organization’s “how might we?” question, aligns with its goals and unmet needs, and can move forward into implementation with S2 support.
